We understand that the GE Festival may have an environmental footprint to be addressed. We are incorporating sustainable practices throughout the Festival to reduce any impact which include the following initiatives: - The Festival will reduce plastic waste by incorporating a water wall to encourage all participants, volunteers and spectators to refill their reusable water bottles. - Where possible, we are collaborating with vendors in our supply chain to select those that meet specific sustainability criteria. - Educating the Community on this critical issue is also central to our strategy. Participate in our sustainability challenges and look out for more information throughout the Festival. - We understand that emissions from our event are unavoidable. To minimise our impact we have purchased high-quality carbon offsets for all of our direct emissions and for any air travel emissions that have occurred for the Festival. - Our Festival is powered by 100% renewable energy. We have procured renewable energy certificates to compensate for 100% of the electricity used at all Festival venues.
